is negative. He is a tyrant, out to punish people. Why do you need intercessors between you and God? Why is it that you have to pray to mary or saint theresa etc.
I am from a christian family and my mum until now always says
" may Mary protect you".
On the other hand, God says in the koran:
" And when My slaves ask you (O Muhammad SAW) concernIng Me, then (answer them), I am Indeed near . I respond to the InvocatIons of the supplIcant when he calls on Me (wIthout any medIator or Intercessor). So let them obey Me and believe In Me, so that they may be led aright. " 2:186
It seems to me that in Islam, God is more approachable than in christianity (where one need to go to other channels to reach god)

Body snd soul, does the devil order people not to commit fornication, not to drink, not to gamble, to give in charity, to to worship the one true God?
I do not think so.

Totally agree with you sister about all the points you mentioned
_____________________________________________
1)Allah is merciful:
"What concern hath Allah for your punishment if ye are thankful (for His mercies) and believe (in Him)? Allah was ever Responsive, Aware. "[4:147]
"Say: "O my Servants who have transgressed against their souls! Despair not of the Mercy of Allah: for Allah forgives all sins: for He is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. "[39:53]
"and whoever is ill or on a journey, the same number [of days which one did not observe Saum (fasts) must be made up] from other days. Allâh intends for you ease, and He does not want to make things difficult for you. "[2:185]
"Allâh wishes to accept your repentance, but those who follow their lusts, wish that you (believers) should deviate tremendously away (from the Right Path). "[4:27]
___________________________________________
2)Duaa (Supplication) is an act of worship:
Because you don't ask someone to answer your needs and forgive your sins and make your wishes come true unless you are certain that:
-He can hear you (even if he is not with you)
-He can answer your request (Whatever it was)
i.e he should be all-hearing , all-seeing , and has power to do anything , which are attributes of god alone.
That's why in Islam Supplication can only be made to Allah because he is the all-hearing all-seeing
"Verily, those whom you call upon besides Allâh are slaves like you. So call upon them and let them answer you if you are truthful "[7:194]
In an authentic (Saheeh) saying of the prophet peace be upon him he said: "Duaa is -the heart of -worship" and then he recited the holy verse:
"And your Lord says: "Call on Me; I will answer your (Prayer): But those who are too arrogant to serve Me will surely find themselves in Hell in humiliation!" "[40:60]
And that's why we don't agree with christians of today
And that's why nomatter how much we love and respect Muhammad peace be upon him , we are never allowed to ask him for forgiveness or susteinance, and we believe he is dead now , he can't hear us , or benefit us. But his teachings are still alive in the Sunna that was miraculously recorded and preserved.
"Muhammad is no more than an Messenger: many were the Messengers that passed away before Him. If he died or was slain, will ye then turn back on your heels? If any did turn back on his heels, not the least harm will he do to Allah; but Allah (on the other hand) will swiftly reward those who (serve him) with gratitude. "[3:144]
____________________________________________
3)There is no mediator or Intercessor between God and his servants. That's the same argument that Quraysh said to the prophet. They told him they only worship the idols so they can bring them nearer to Allah.
"Is it not to Allah that sincere devotion is due? But those who take for protectors other than Allah (say): "We only serve them in order that they may bring us nearer to Allah." Truly Allah will judge between them in that wherein they differ. But Allah guides not such as are false and ungrateful. "[39:3]

Sadly I have a big problem with Muslims. It's not something I picked up over a night, but I grew up in a Muslim country and had a bad view about Islam from the people who call themselves "true Muslims". I think Most Muslims don't really have a relationship with God. They don't really have faith in him. Many people that I encountered with pray without any faith or love. A lot of them are hypocrites. I am not trying to be mean, but that is my experience from living in three Muslim countries. I also had many friends who were nice people and didn't care about religion and of course didn't call me an "infidel". I have absolutely no right of saying who is going to heaven and who is not, so I really don't know. In Christianity the only way to go to heaven it to follow Jesus, but it's another story if you've never heard of Jesus, the son of God and only knew him as a prophet.

First your general claim is wrong I am a Christian and I don't hate Allah, I don't hate Yahweh, the Jewish God, Buddha, Confucius or any other gods or holy men who espouse their ideas as belief. I hate the Zealot's God the Allah of Osama bin Laden , the God of Pat Robertson the God's that preach intolerance and bigotry. The Bible in 1 John 2:1-2 says If any man sins we have an advocate with the father , Jesus Christ the righteous.... Also Jesus said when ever two or more are gathered in my name there I am too, that shows me an approachable God in that I can go to Jesus who has lived as a Human being and understands our life. Catholics pray to Mary as their intercessor Protestants pray to Jesus. Jews and Muslim's pray to their God who promises to hear their prayers . What is the difference except the language that they pray in.
All Gods are approachable they wouldn't be worshiped if they weren't. The Differences between Judaism, Christianity and Islam is very small they are all based upon the writings of the religion(s) that have come before.
Jesus was first and foremost a Jew he practiced and he kept Jewish Law. Paul was the First Christian who preached to words of Jesus as a new set of Beliefs. Mohammad was a merchant who lived in Medina. and traveled between Medina and Cairo for business and stayed at a monastery in the Sinai, there he learned about Judaism and Christianity and he thought that he was being told to join the first two into a thrid so he wrote down the Quaran and formed Islam. If you want to believe in Allah I will defend your right as I would expect you to defend me right to my belief.
May the God of all protect you and your family

I woudn't view a god that possesses slaves as a god at all. That makes it sound like they don't have a choice aside from complete obedience, and that's not really something I'd want to get involved with.
In Christianity, God is everywhere, you don't need to go to other channels. For some people, patron saints of certain things, instead of just one thing in general.. people think it might help them accomplish whatever thing they're praying for.

Christian preachers and priests have been brain washing Christians since they were children against Islam, Muslims, their Prophet and their God with lies.
What they can say any thing good about Islam. If you want to know ask prior Christians who are now Muslims. They studied Islam with open minds and were convinced that Islam is the true religion. They were not brain washed or forced to convert. Muslims do not swords in their hands in USA where lots of Christians are accepting Islam as their religion.

I'm a Christian
If I want to talk to God all I have to do is open my mouth and speak. Roman Catholicism is not the only Christian Religion in the World you know. God is still God no matter how you pray to Him or what name you call Him by.
It is a shame that we as humans have taken religion and twisted it to suit our own ends and purposes.
The Catholics do it to support their institutions.
The Jews do it to support their institutions.
The more Radical Muslims do it to support their hatreds.
God loves You and God wants you to join Him in Heaven/Paradise.
God wants You to love your fellowman and treat them with respect.
God wants You to worship Him and believe in Him.
Anything outside of that.....
Is just organized religion whitewash.

The word spoken by Jesus (PBUH) to mean (God in English) in Aramaic was Allaha.
