a gallon of milk = $3.68( if you buy 2 you get them cheaper)
a 2 littler soda = $1.40
a dozen of eggs = $1.98
bread = from $0.98 to $4
paper tissue = $2.50 pakette of 4 rolls but u can find cheaper brands
water= $3.98 case of 24 bottles

Those are some prices i gave u to make u see the average of prices. I think u can do it with $100 weekly if you eat at lot could be more.
And dont forget all the beverages like soda, water and beers you must have to pay CRV (California recicle value) which is $0.05 for every can or bottle...so don't be scare when u buy a case of water at 3.98 and u final cost will 5.18!

Hope this details can help you

The grocery price in the united states is much cheaper than europe and canada, you may need $80 to cover it including one bottle of SKYY, one pack( 6 bottle) beer, 8 pounds of fruits, 8 pounds of bread, and some cookies, deserts and travel toilet( toothpaste,tissue...)

I say with 100dollars you could make it.
However if you want to eat in a resturant I would say like 350dollars. However if you eat at Mc Donalds or the fast food resturants it would be cheaper...Like 200 dollars
