Why give Motor Vehicle drivers Licenses to ILLegal aliens in the State of New York? Please remember that the ashes are still warm from the Fires at the World Trade Center and that ILLegal aliens crashed two aircraft into those buildings. What part of *ILLegal* do the people from New York not comphrehend? Should there be another attack on NYC, I suspect that few people will have any sympahty. Governor Spitzer is simply catering to special interest groups, big businesses, and Hispanic voters - those who support illegal aliens. In his statement, he said that the Federal govt is not enforcing the immigration laws. He stated "I would not enforce that provision . . . I do not believe that it is the role of the state to be transformed into one big I.N.S. agent."
Can you believe he called ICE, "INS"? INS turned into ICE four years ago! Makes you wonder if he is updated with all the immigration laws.
Three of the 9/11 terrorists were illegal immigrants - they overstayed their visas.

Well one of the states just had to take over giving illegals legitimacy since North Carolina stopped doing it. But you need to know that the people in NY didn't make this decision it was the governor.
Let's just see if the law is actually put into action, and if that Governor keeps his job.

The people of NY recognize that NYC is the most economically viable city in the USA and that immigrant business, including those of illegal aliens have made it that way.

These guys were actually here under valid visas. Some were on the CIA watch list and were approved by the CIA anyway.
