I know it's not popular to say, but when I was a teenager I lost weight by eating 500 calories or less without any exercise at first. That lasted about 3 weeks then I started exercising daily (1 and a half hours) in the afternoon and upped my calories by 300-400 and continued to lose weight. After I got to the weight I wanted, I ate everything I wanted, good and bad, but exercised for about 3 hours a day after school.. Change up your exercises too and that will help. I stayed the same weight from 14 years old to 27 years old (105 lbs.) when I got married. People would say to me all the time, where do you put your food, your so thin, but eat like a man. I exercised religiously at that time for 3 hours so it had no where to stick on me.
Now that I am married with children , weight has creeped on. I have lost weight now with juice fasts, water fasts and exercise. By the way, I have had no ill effects and haven't died yet.

Foods Less Than 500 Calories

The best time to exercise is in the mornings because it will speed up your metabolism, making your body likely to turn what you eat into energy rather than fat.

But you definitely should be eating more than 500 calories a day, 2000 is the amount you should be eating, but I have read articles that say you can get away with eating 1500 a day to survive.

I think the best way to lose weight is to make lifestyle changes; such as cutting out any fizzy drinks, that will make you lose weight, and switching to water will help you lose even more weight. If you eat too few calories you will find you lose some weight, but when you start eating again your body will try to prepare itself for starvation again and turn most of it straight into fat. You then end up putting on all the weight again, plus even more.

Please try to lose weight the sensible way, and you will end up having more success, and will find it easier to keep the weight off in the long term.

Good luck!

acually, its not good to work out late at night. it is better to do it before you eat, because your body is still in a state where it can digest food quicker and still burn some of those calories as you eat it. so i'd suggest to get better results, eat after you walk and excersize.
Also, if you eat less than 500 calories, your body will subconciously think that you are starving, making it turn more of the calories into fat, so the energy can be stored. also, this could slow down your matabolism signifiantly, so you should definetly eat around 2000 calories everyday.

Eating less than 500 calories a day is not going to help you loose weight. Your gonna end up gaining weight the minute you start to eat more than 500 calories and be probably double the size you are now. One hour of walking? Thats not really going to raise your heart rate and keep it steady. You could try doing something along the lines of some sort of Elliptical for atleast 45 minutes a day , 6 times a week. and maybe doing some weights maybe 3 times a week. But you need to eat atleast 1,000 calories a day. If your over weight, you will notice a different. A friend of mine dropped 20 lbs on a Low carb diet in like a month. Good luck

If you did this and succeeded, you'd be the first ever to do it. I wont lecture you, but the fact is, it's impossible. If you eat less than 500 calories a day and exercise, you'll definately lose weight, but 70-80 pounds is a huge loss and without some kind of liposuction, that would take much longer than 2 months.

You won't lose weight faster if you eat less than your body requires. (Go to www.mypyramid.gov to see how much you should be eating). You'll actually be adept to gain weight instead, once you stop your <500 calorie diet.

I've heard that you need at least 1200 calories a day... at 500 you will go into starvation mode.... and not lose weight... try to stick to about 1200 calories and still eat healthy... take your vitamins, and have proper exercise... hope this will help you... I'm not sure what your starting weight is so be careful, whatever you do...

I've tried many diets and couldn't make anything work. Since having my first child, I've been carrying around an extra 30 pounds. This diet just made sense and showed me that everything I was doing before was wrong and a waste of my time.

The plan was so refreshing and so simple to follow. I did everything plan said and lost 23 pounds in the first three weeks. I'm now starting the diet again to lose 7 more pounds. This plan has changed my life.

Get started today!

You will definitely lose weight temporarily by doing this, but you will probably feel like crap in the meantime. I know you probably already know this, but it's not good to eat less than 1000-1200 calories a day. If you insist on doing this, at least try to spread your calories out during the day so you at least have some energy to run on.
