You'll probably stay the same or gain some weight.

When you go under 1200 calories, your body thinks that you're in a survival setting and goes into starvation mode by saving all of your fat and using your muscles as energy.

In other words, the longer you go without at least 1200 caloires a day, the longer your body will hold onto fat. And you have no idea how much that damages your organs. By the end of that 30 days, you will be stinking, your hair will be falling out, and your organs will be getting closer to not functioning.

a straight 28 day fast will kill you after the 14th day or so if your lucky to get that long.

if your talking about doing something like the muslim fasting during ramadan where you eat at night your still going to get very sick and can still die if you dont get the proper amount of nutrition when you do eat.

btw it will make you look disgusting. not to mention eating fruits and vegetables will not make up for anything. vegetarians are already unhealthy because of their eating habits and have to be very careful to get the proper amounts of nutrients anyway. fruits and fruit juice will not sufice if you choose to fast that long.

I really hope you are not seriously considering such a thing. It is very dangerous. You will lose vital muscle eg your heart apart from getting grotty hair and skin. if you need to lose weight a safe amount to lose is 2-3 pounds a week. If you crash diet you lose muscle and put fat back on when you start eating properly again.

After 28 days of fasting your weight will no longer be in your control. You will either be dead or in a hospital.

Starvation diets do not work. They make it worse.

I hope you're kidding. If you deprive yourself of food that long, you will completely kill your metabolism and likely suffer from serious health effects, regardless of how overweight you were to begin with. Stop focusing on the amount of food you eat, but rather the quality (minimally processed, "closer to the Earth") and start exercising.

that is not healthy! calorie count instead....cut down your calories by 500 cal. a day and you can lose a pound a week...you want to do something that you can stick to in the long run
