Communication should come easily between people who care about each other so if it has to be something planned or preconceived there's something very wrong with this relationship. Forced conversation can prove quite uncomfortable so don't even consider it and you need to understand that communication doesn't always involve words because sometimes just being together is enough. Quietly holding hands, walking beside the ocean or just relaxing speaks volumes. It means you enjoy each others company, you like and respect one another and all you desire at that moment is being together.
"Action speaks louder than words".

There is such a thing as comfortable silence. Why do you need to talk all the time? Nothing is worse than forced conversation. Just relax and enjoy each other quietly if you have nothing to say. When you do have something to say, you will and it will be a natural, pleasant conversation. No one can coach you on that. It has to happen naturally.

It's probably just that your both nervous. It's easy to talk on MSN because you don't see each other.
Just relax and talk about whatever comes to mind. If this is your first date, find out more about him. You need to get to know each other.
Bust basically, just have fun and don't stress out too much.

it happens. Like i'm talking to my best female friend. we have chats that last hours and we've talked every day for the past year. We hit dry spots. just ask about his day. Dare to be random with what you do. tease him a bit. show him videos on youtube or something.
dead convos happen.just have something in reserve just in case that happens. if you cant think of anything. turn on the radio or something. sure enough, you may be talking bout the song, the musician, and whatnot.

Oh my gosh, the same thing happened to me and my girlfriend on our first official date yesterday!
Talk about what happens during your date or what you guys want to do afterwards. Once that dies out, move closer to him and look into his eyes. He'll make a move if he isn't shy. So if he is, just say something like you have something next to your eye. He'll move in closer, and then kiss him on the lips. and let the making out begin.

well with me and my boyfriend, it usually just comes to us. you should try new things together and talk about anything interesting you did during the day. or come up with some situations, like .. "what if ......................... blah blah blah". or ask about his political, religious views. iono. be more open and dont stress so much about what you'll talk about next. the less u think about it the more it'll come to u
