She's too thin. While everyone is genetically different, 98 lbs is thin on a person that is 5' 2"!!! Eat more (not junk) and start working out-- and no, not running 8 miles, I mean light weights or if you can't stomach that, then pilates or yoga-- something to build up a bit of muscle. 120 lb. would be a MINIMUM healthy weight for a woman this height. Depending on her bodyfat %, 160 lbs. would be perfectly acceptable and healthy as well.

Some girls are naturally slim. I weighed 98 lbs when I graduated high school. Didn't gain any weight until I married at 23 and went on birth control pills. Sounds healthy to me.

if shes active.. she should definitely not be eating less than other girls and probably she should eat more. she should be pretty much done growing and shes awfully thin for her age and height. but i dont know the girl she sounds too thin. but thats good she eats healthy and is active. is she overly active tho or really restrictive on extra calories (treats)?

Waaaay, underweight. I bet she's not having her period. She probably has anorexia or bulimia and is in the closet about it. This girl needs help. Maybe her best friend....her mother...? I don't know if she even realizes she has a problem. That's the first step. You have to decide if you want to get involved. Very sad. :(

sounds healthy, although she is extremely underweight-not enough fat it sounds like. I think she needs to gain a little more fat to protect her immune system and her vital organs. She should continue you nutritional and activity levels to keep her healthy.

She weighs too little for her height. She should be at least 125 lbs.

her bmi is 15.3. at the very least it should be 18.5. so she needs to gain about 20 pounds. this doesent have to be fat, it could be muscle, but she REALLY REALLY needs to gain weight. you should be worried.

not many women are naturally that skinny. if she eats very little and plays sports then it sounds like she is intentionally trying to be very thin.
it will catch up to her eventually, it always does.
