*The Bible says "To Love the Lord thy God with all thy Heart, Soul and Mind" However, God Instituted TWO things on this Earth. >>> *THEY Are MARRIAGE AND CHURCH, In that Order!
Ephesians 5:3I ......For this Cause should a man Leave His Father And Mother, and shall be joined unto His Wife, and they TWO Shall be one Flesh.
I Timothy 5:8.........But If ANY Provide NOT for His OWN, and especially those of His Own House, HE Hath Denied THe Faith, And Is Worse Than An INFIDEL.
*GOD SAYS: "WHEN A MAN FINDS A WIFE, HE FINDS A GOOD THING."! *(I really like that) Smile.
Ephesians 5:28.......So Men Ought to LOVE their Wives as their OWN Bodies. HE That loveth His WIFE Loveth Himself.

No it says many times to put God and trust in the Lord above all others, just as the man who ask Jesus what must he do to inherit the kingdom of God and Jesus replyed observe and do the ten commandments and the guy says he has but what more must he do so Jesus replys sell all that you have and follow me the guy was rich and this upset him but it does not Tell what becomes of this man or what decision he made.

I question your motives in asking this question--sometimes (especially women) use their "love of God" to rationalize disrespectful behavior especially if their spouse is not spiritually minded or even as "advanced" as they are.

When we truly love and trust God we should have no problem abiding by these verses:

Ephesians 5:22, "Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord."

1 Peter 3:1, "Likewise, ye wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; that, if any obey not the word, they also may without the word be won by the conversation (behavior) of the wives;"

Ephesians 5:33b "...the wife see that she reverence her husband."

1 Corinthians 7:14, "For the unbelieving husband is sanctified by the wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the husband: else were your children unclean; but now are they holy."

The Pharisees used one verse to negate another verse. Jesus found this abhorrent.

We can love God and fully love, honor and respect our husbands. One does not take away from the other. Only you know what is the true motive of your heart in regards to these matters.

Are you submitting to your husband, are you in subjection to your husband, are you reverencing him? God wants you to do that as well as love Him. You can do both.

We are told in the Bible to put no one ave God. That said though if you put God first you will treat others including spouse as you should. they are elevated higher through your love of God.

God says in Quran that humans must love God more than any body else including spouses and parents and immediate family members. God deserves more love than any one else because He creates, feeds, protects and guides us to the right path. But too many of us tend to love guidance of satan who is our enemy to see us in hell with him.

You thought correct. But here's a little different viewpoint. If I put my wife before God, I am, in effect, saying that I can take care of her better than God can. Well, I can't. So I put God first and let Him take care of everything, my wife included. It's what He wants and it's what I need. Of course, if she's sick, I'm going to take her to the doctor; if she's depressed, I'm going to cheer her up; if she's hungry, I'm going to feed her, etc. But since it's all in God's hands anyway, I'm gonna put Him first.

The hiearchy is: God, Man, Woman, Child. We are to always honor God above all else, the rest follows.
