Hmmm... well lets see......... lets take an example.......

After the decline of Rome, the Christian church banned and destroyed many writings on not only religion, but pretty much every intellectual subject. Almost all of the works of Aristotle were unknown to western scholars for a very long time. Fortunately, his entire works had been preserved in Arabic because of Islamic beliefs in preserving and increasing knowledge. His collection of works were translated from Arabic to Latin in the 12th & 13th century.

So you could say that it is because of religion, that we know the works of one of the most influential philosophers of western thought. They can complement each other without being pitted against each other.

Not really, but some religions are philosophies eg. Buddhism, some religions support philosophy eg. Catholicism and some religions are a mix of philosophy and religions eg. Hinduism.
These are just examples, take them as they are, not to the letter.

Philosophy literally means "the love of knowledge"... science is an ernest search for knowledge. Religion is the illusion of knowledge, along with psychological problems.

Universes cannot be created.

it's not a philosophy because religion is an organized belief. A philosophy is an individual belief.
So it could be said that each person who is religious, has their own religious philosophy

Religion is not Philosophy only but God's commands are based on His highest level of wisdom and His commands have some philosophy behind the command.

For example, God commands all women to cover themselves from head to toe when go out in public.
Philosophy behind is that if she is fully covered, she will attract the good man who will concentrate on her face, the way she talks, the way she things and her beliefs finding out during their conversation. If he falls in love with her, he is loving her mind and heart and not her body.

Those who attract men by revealing their body curves, men tend to leave them after body starts loosing attraction and he goes after another younger body.

Isn't so?

Belief in a Deity is real. Philosophy is theory. My religion is based on fact, Jesus is the only begotten Son of God, born of a virgin, crucified on a cross for my sin, arose from the grave 3 days later the victor over sin, death, and hell, and He now sits at the right hand (this is the hand of power) of God the Father waiting for the time to return to earth for His church. I have a very personal relationship with my God, who is also my creator.

No, religion and philosophy are two very different things.

There is no evidence that the universe was created.

religion claims to know and understand the origins of everything and worship a supernatural being.

philosophy tries to understand things on a purely intellectual level, without any black and white answers.
