I have an expensive program called "Sony Vegas" and it is a movie editor. I've watched several tutorials and that tell you the best way to render (export) quality video for youtube or whatever else you want. I render the movie as WMV and i follow all the other directions and EVERY SINGLE TIME my video is skippy and jumpy. If i render it as avi or something like that it looks good but then it is too huge of a filesize to put on youtube. I have many friends who have videos on youtube who just use windows movie maker and render movies and they never skip or jump, and mine always do. Does anyone know good settings to use for youtube without making the video a WMV, or what I am doing wrong? Thank you.

Well i've realized every 30 frames it skips a frame, and I see what you said about the resolution but don't i need to do a smaller resolution than that to put it on youtube?

Pay attention to the video resolution and the bit rate.

Your video may be OK, but if the bit rate is too high, your PC may not have enough memory or speed to render the video without skipping frames.

You don't tell us what PC you have, but do
try 720x480, at about 4 Mbits/s. This is close to DVD resolution. If it still skips try 2 Mbits/s and 360x480.
