OK, so I live a super life and get into heaven, then what? Since I am still existing but, now, in heaven, what now? Would I not then be asking what the point of existing in Heaven is or do I stop asking questions because I know everything, at that point, and since I know everything, am I not equal to God?

OK, so we become high priests and live with him - then what? If I don't experience boredom, what will I be doing? If I am doing anything, then boredom has to exist as per the paradox of opposites.

I just cannot see living in heaven any different from here. The only thing that I will buy is that it's beyond our imagination so anything we can even think of heaven/nirvana being is automatically wrong since we can conceive it now.

We're most of us not ready in this life to understand everything that will happen in eternity. I don't think I am. This life is so short compared to eternity - of course you'll get bored in eternity if all there is is what you can understand in this life.

Consider the source of your greatest joys in this life - family, friends? You think maybe those things will continue in heaven? Continue as in, you'll keep getting more family and friends? Consider what "mormons" believe about it (official name of church=Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints)- we may never be exactly equal with God, our Father in Heaven, but...

"Ye shall come forth... and shall inherit fthrones, kingdoms, principalities, and powers, dominions, all heights and depths—then shall it be written in the Lamb’s Book of Life... it shall be done unto them in all things whatsoever my servant hath put upon them, in time, and through all eternity; and shall be of full force when they are out of the world; and they shall pass by the angels, and the gods, which are set there, to their exaltation and glory in all things, as hath been sealed upon their heads, which glory shall be a fulness and a continuation of the seeds forever and ever.
Then shall they be gods, because they have no end; therefore shall they be from everlasting to everlasting, because they continue; then shall they be above all, because all things are subject unto them. Then shall they be gods, because they have all power, and the angels are subject unto them."

I don't believe humans go to heaven.......

1 thessalonians 4:16

For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first.

If this is true then when you die you really do just die...which means only on the day of the coming of the lord will you become a spirit then god will create a new heavens and new earth

Isaiah 65:17
Behold, I will create new heavens and a new earth
(Note it said heaven(s) not Heaven, Heaven will stay the same)

You don't know everything. At that point your spirit is united to God in a bond of perfect love. In this life, sexual intercourse between a husband and wife stands as a symbol of that ultimate union we shall have in heaven. We shall be consummate, loving and serving our Ultimate Good (God) for eternity. While the pleasure involved in this is not the point of attaining to Heaven (glorifying God is) the pleasure and bliss we will be in will be beyond orgasmic.

It's notable that although writers have been able to come up with very plausibly ghastly visions of Hell, I've yet to hear of a imaginary description of Heaven that makes it sound like a good place to spend eternity.

I suspect that this is because no-one has a clue about what would be nice enough to do for millions of years. Sad comment on humanity's familiarity with joy.

We are never equal to God, but we have knowledge and wisdom that comes from God and new understanding. One day we will reign with him and be high priest and kings, but not God. He is still in authority over us, we just now have a better seat.

Well one thing is for sure, We cannot prove that Gods, and Spirits exists but we also cannot prove they don't exist. So infact we cannot prove what happens in the aftermath of life. So have fun finding out :)

Jerrid, there are various magnificent christian solutions here, so i'm unlikely to repeat them. i could pick to re-emphise a element made here by ability of others nonetheless. it incredibly is; the foremost is the two you're proper or Jesus Christ is right. You the two cant be precise. considering the fact that He suggested that he's the only thank you to heaven, and you're assuming which you dont must be a christian to get there, needless to say one among you is erroneous. Jesus suggested God must be worshipped in Spirit AND actuality. So being hassle-free isn't sufficient. (in accordance to Him). Now the *sixty 4,000 dollar question is; Are you prepared to wager your eternal destiny on your "assumption" which you recognize greater approximately it than He does? another element. stepping into Heaven isnt even the wonderful purpose of the christian existence. Jesus suggested, "that's eternal existence; that they might recognize you, the only real God." you spot Jerrid, its real that eternal existence is easily eternal interior the sense that it by no ability ends, however the main significant purpose of eternal existence & heaven is understanding God in an intimate dating for all of eternity. in basic terms being in a position talked approximately as "heaven" for an endless quantity of time is not any replace for THAT. Being incorrect approximately ones non secular ideals, no count how hassle-free ability one does no longer want a dating with God on HIS words. So, that's no longer lots wether God will "permit" you into heaven besides, as that's which you dont pick to be there. simply by fact if a guy or woman isn't prepared to publish to Gods will appropriate to someone's dating with Himself, how could desire to they ever be "chuffed" in heaven? Loving God, and "understanding" Him starts off with submitting to what He has ordained. (Coming to Him by ability of way of His Son, and all that the Son has carried out for us on the bypass). So Jerrid, who's right? You or Jesus Christ? ....theBerean

you're pretty much in a state of nirvana. like i believe, it's a cultural thing. but there definately is a god. (or gods) its just the way we interpret it. it may be wrong, may be right. but i don't think he would damn one religion for worshiping one way and not the other (unless of course they kill each other over it)
