As we go on becoming older we change our ideas though we know the last aim is to search the truth.We use to change our definations according to circumstances, fevouring us.why?

When we are young, we view things as right or wrong, black or white. As we get older, and leave our parent's protection, we discover that the real world offers many shades of gray, and things are just not as simple as all that. So we have to adjust, to discern each situation as we come to it, and hope that our experiences will serve to help us when we come to the next shade of gray.....Not necessarily just about what serves us best, although that is the way it is for many people, but things are just not that simple most of the time....

It's called evolution. You'd have to ask why things evolve (which is a good question)
