Even if these creatures were real, they don't change people just because they ask.
For vamps, they've gotta have a darn good reason to change you-
Do you have a lot of money?
Are you physically strong, psychologically strong?
What about sex appeal- are you hot?
For a vamp, changing someone isn't about recruiting people to a club- it's about power.
Werewolves are a lot more unpredictable. You've gotta be physically tough/strong to survive the attack in the first place, or you're just the next meal. Then you have to be able to survive the change. Then you have to be able to control your new alter-ego-- some are able to do this naturally (call them Alpha, please), and some have to learn.
Then once you're a part of the local pack (yeah, they're still wolves), you have to be able to walk the fine line between defending yourself and pissing off anyone above you in rank.
In the meantime, I suggest you work on trying to become something that is at least real.....
