Location of pain--- pain is located near the organ or tissue that causes the pain. In abdominal and thoracic cavities pain of organs is felt over the skin overlying the pain.
Nature of pain ---burning pain of acidity,throbbing pain of an adscess,constant dull pain of a swollen organ,intermittent pain of bowel movements, and constant pain of a heart attack
Very severe radiating pain of renal colic
Mild to severe pain of an intracranial region usually associated with projectile vomiting ie vomiting not preceded by nausea.
Referred pain--is felt away from the organ that is the cause.
Pain of heart is not felt on the left side, though heart is on the left side.It is felt in midline.Intestinal colic also is felt in midline Testicular pain is felt in upper abdomen as nerves of testes come from abdomen.
Uterine and testicular pains are severe but the exact nature is understood only by those who suffer from them.
Radiating pain is when pain is felt all along the nerve even though nerve is involved at a sinle point as in sciatica.
Autonomous nervous system is involved in moderate to severe pain
Very severe pain causes shock.

No, that's not normal. If someone ever tells you "oh, it's just growing up" Don't listen, because they don't know what the hell they're talking about. I don't think it's bi-polar disorder, but it sounds a LOT like depression, especially with the cutting. By the way, please stop, I'm sure you've noticed that cutting doesn't solve a thing, and it can be dangerous. You may not cut deep, or over the vein, but that doesn't mean that it won't accidently go deeper than you intend one day. Besides, think about it, you're cutting yourself open, there's pain for a reason and it's because that's not good. If it didn't do any damage, it wouldn't hurt. I know where you're coming from, and I really think you should get some form of help. It doesn't have to be a councilor, maybe just a really good friend. Just please do something, it gets worse if you don't do anything about it. Good luck!

it all depends what level and type of pain. there is throbbing pain, fatigue, spasm, tension, acute, chronic, moderate disconfort, burning pain, etc..... and will reflect diferent type of symptoms based on what level like increase respiration, heart rate, diaphoresis etc....
