We are looking for something scenic, with beach access, and not too ultra modern looking. Maybe even something historical would be ideal, but not a must. Thanks!

Can the guys where a sand colored linen? That'll look beachy. =) And just because you're having a beach wedding doesn't mean that your theme has to be about a beach. You don't even really need a theme -- you can just have certain colors (like navy and yellow, or even a light blue and cream, or red and white, or whatever you wish!) that play up on the summer-y side of your wedding without making it exclusive for a beach. I think the frozen lemonade is an adorable choice, and I think you have a pretty good idea of what you want, and I say go for it. =D

Check in Pawley's Island.
They have a fantastic beach front resort, and it's very clean and the beach isn't crowded because most people hang out at Myrtles beach.

I went to a wedding in Bald Head Island and it was amazing. There is a small chapel on the water, it is very rustic and outerbanks like there.
