No, it isn't possible for two species to produce offspring. She just looks like a mixed breed cat. Very pretty though.

Pretty kitty! And it's not part fox. It might have some Russian Blue in it. It also might have Persian. Possibly Maine Coon too(they have really thick, bushy tails).

Sorry to break you the news but your kitty is just a standard Domestic Long Hair. I have actually seen quite a few of these blue-gray kitties this season. Maybe I've just noticed them more since I fostered two little blue-gray manxes. Just like the rest of their bodies, a cat's tail can come in different sizes. Some are just skinnier than others (or maybe it just seems that way b/c she is longer haired).
Regardless of her bloodline, she's a beauty!

pretty cat, looks a bit like a maine coon , and no it is not possible for a cat and a fox to procreate. check out the CFA (cat fanciers association) web site for the breed profile on maine coons .

Looks like persian mix. Of course cats and foxes can't mix!!! It's like dogs a cat mating. Foxes are dogs.

definitely looks like a long haired tortiose shell to me...my cousin has one. but i guess it would be easier to tell in person. it does kinda look like a maine coon as well but, a lot of cats do.
