Go to another vet right away. 8-10 days is when fading puppy syndrome often sets in. There maybe nothing you can do if that is the case, but he needs to see a good vet. If he can be saved he/she will be the one to do it.
Good luck.

Giving him the tylenol was a mistake. Tylenol is toxic for dogs. Dosing medication is based on weight- so if your newborn yorkie weighs OUNCES you just gave him WAY more tylenol than he needed if you weren't seriously careful with the dose even if it wasn't a REALLY bad idea to give dogs (especially a ten day old baby) tylenol. Eight puppies is a huge litter for a yorkie. It isn't uncommon for puppies to be stillborn or die for unknown causes. A woman I know bred her papillon- three out of the four puppies in the litter died. Another woman I know had three puppies die in a litter of eleven. You are doing the right thing by bottle feeding him and try to keep him warm. Try to make sure he is feeding off mama and the bottle feedings can also supplement that since he will get important nutrients and antibodies from mom. You don't say how much you are feeding him, or how often. That can make a big difference- usually newborns at the hospital are fed every hour or two minimum. Without seeing him, its hard to say why he would be crying though. Good luck and plz don't give any more medicine without consulting your vet! X_X

HOME MONITOR will make you fell better: CHECK HIS TEMP- if it drops below normal- keep him next to your body or on a hot water bottle - you can get a cheap digital thermometer at the pharmacy- you will be able to find the normal temp on line or call your vet, I am sure they will tell you what its supposed to be. HAND FEED HIM- there is puppy formula available as well as bottles but if he's getting food from mom and you can watch and make sure he's eating than by all means let him do it that way- CHECK FOR DEHYDRATION: this is easy really- pull up on some of his fur at the Knapp of his neck- if it returns quickly to its place, then the puppy is hydrated and you have nothing to worry about. If on the other hand, the fur is slow to return- than puppy may need fluids- compare him with his siblings and if he is showing any such signs- get him back to the vet ASAP - if he is closed you can get PEDALITE at the grocery store in the infant department. Get the plain stuff and dropper feed every fifteen to twenty minutes- this is only to hold you over until you can get to the vet though. CHECK HIS GUMS- sick puppies will have almost white gums- you can check them against his siblings to see if they are the same, if they are paling in comparison, get to the vet ASAP- good luck

You need to take the puppy to a different vet. If they still say he is ok, you need to watch to see if he is able to get to the mom to eat. Is he the runt? Sometimes they have trouble getting to eat because the others push them out of the way.You may need to help him attach to a teat. Have you tried to hand feed him? You can find puppy milk and the bottles to use,at most all pet supply stores. But first I would get a second opinion from another vet. Don't take too long to do this, if your vet is wrong, you could lose your puppy. Good luck

Sounds like there is something wrong with him.Is he smaller then the rest, mebay he is the run of the litter, those pups have sometimes a hard time getting a good start.
Is the mum paying attention to him sometimes they ignore the run, when they feel its to weak.
What i would do is take him away from the litter bottle feed him roll him up in a blanket ,to keep him warm.
Sometimes the need extra care could be a couple days or up to a week or two.
or try a different vet.
Good luck .

if hes not eating then hes not going to have the energy to move. You'll probably bottle feed him until he regains his strength. Walmart sells puppy formula and bottles. But for the bottles i would say just any babby bottle would work just make sure the flow of formula is right. Most times you want to be able to hold the bottle upside down and have a steady drip flowing through. too much could choke then and not enough could make him lose precious energy trying harder. If its flow is too light you can poke through the nipple a few times with a sterile needle until right.

he might just be a little slower than the others, or it could be similar to my kitten, if he's sick and congested, his sinuses could be congested, which would cause him to need to breath through his mouth and it's hard to eat and breath at the same time for them, and being less active he could be being pushed out by the others, and it's possible mom isn't feeding him because if he's trying to nurse and breath at the same time he may be bitting moms nipples in the process. try bottle feeding him and see what he does, this will help you determine the problem

As long as you make sure that one is getting to eat, he should be fine. Every litter has a runt and maybe he is it. I have a dog who seemed like that when she was a newborn and it turns out that that is just her personality. 7 years later she is till the best behaved dog. Doesn't jump on you and loves to be petted and fetch but not overly zealous to run unless someone openly engages her.

nothing..i would basically just make sure he is getting to the nipple to eat, but otherwise i wouldn't worry too much about him..there are sometimes puppies in the litter that just hang back, and yes you should keep an eye on him and make sure he is getting food, but he will come out in his own time..hes just a baby, plus he's a little over shadowed by his brother and sisters, someones gotta be mellow! lol

I'm asking why did you breed this litter? Your obviously not a responsible breeder otherwise you wouldn't have to ask this question on this forum.
The only reason to breed is for the betterment of the breed. AND I betcha you just stuck 2 dogs together to make money or some other stupid reason.
Backyard breeders like yourself is the biggest contributor to the overpopulation of dogs. Meaning you are responsible for the dogs that are being KILLED (euthanized) in shelters because there are to many dogs and not enough homes.
Do your POOR dog a favor and everyone else a favor and get your dog spayed for crying out loud. UGH!!!!!!
