I am flying from Charleston, WV to Orlando, FL in 2 weeks and I bought this bag to use as checked luggage. http://shop.avon.com/shop/product.asp?src_page=product_list.asp&level1_id=300&level2_id=307&pdept_id=373&dept_id=&pf_id=31693
I have never flown before and wanted to make sure that this bag would be ok to check on a plane, I have had mixed answers.

The answers that I am getting are about taking the bag on board the plane. In my question I said that the bag will be CHECKED. I need to know if it will be ok or get ripped or something.

It's a little hard to tell from the picture how sturdy the fabric is. It will get dirty, but I don't think it will rip. The luggage handlers aren't super careful with bags, but they also don't drag them on the ground behind the planes, either. ;)

I fly all the time and if you wanted to carry it on, they'd let you. As long as it fits in the lockers above the seat. Mine does and it's about the same size. You might be ok checking it but theres a very good chance you are going to have other bags thrown on top of it. If you have makeup bottles, shampoo etc... there is a good chance something could get broken. I'd take something else. Cute bag though!

approx 14" by 20" for on board cabin baggage, oh, I just looked at your pic, they wont let you take that in the cabin, far too big, it will have to go in the hold, so you have no access to it during the flight (obviously)

Low chance of getting ripped. Should be fine.
