my mother has Indian passport holder and she is in US now for 6 months. so can she apply UK tourist visa in US or she has return back to India and there only she apply for visa. please let me know as soon as possible

As long as your mother can demonstrate that she is in the US legally, and has not violated her status, she is welcome to apply for a UK visa from the US.

Your mother can apply for a UK visa in the British Embassy in the US since she is already staying thereat.

If you are # normally and legally living in United States,#(resident only)
yes you may,but not if you are a tourist in the US.
please make your application to Chicago, Los Angeles, or New York.
