Would like to know what dream means. I am 33 yo and I dreamt of having sex with my ex girlfriend. I have this new girl that I am dating that i am crazy about. What is the reasoning behind this dream of my ex? I dont want her back in any way. Tell me about symbolism in dreams and I am very upset for dreaming of my ex. Please explain what dream means with sources cited, thanks :-)

It could mean that she had a good quality in her that you still like, it doesn't mean you want her back for any reason, you just miss that quality that your new girlfriend doesn't have. And if you liked the sex better with her than your new girlfriend then that could also be a reason.
I think that dreams mean a lot. It can be the most random dream, but there is usually some significance to it that you are subconsciously thinking about and your mind can only get it to you while you're sleeping because you can't think of it when conscious or you deny it.
