It is a form of the Latin verb 'audire', meaning 'to hear'.

It could be two forms - present passive subjunctive, 1st person singular, Depending on context, means something like:

May I be heard

It could also be future passive indicative, 1st person singular. That's:

I will be heard.

Ooh, that's tricky.
It's a present active subjunctive, so it depends on where it's used - if it's by itself, it's probably a hortatory subjunctive - "Let me be heard"
If it's in a special clause, the translation will be different.

future indicative passive singular first person.

[i shall be heard] is the root meaning.
