She turned up at our house pregnant and stuck around since then, and she was a mellow, friendly cat. Even after she had her kittens she was mellow, a bit more protective, but mellow.. Recently she's been going crazy. She'll roll over to be rubbed, and then she'll just bite out of nowhere! She's never bitten before, and now she does it constantly. Sometimes she rolls around and has her mouth open a little and tries to attack things. She even attacked one of her kittens! I don't know what's wrong with her :c Help!

-I can't take her to the vet because I don't have the money, and my parents don't want to shell out money for a cat they don't even want.

-The kittens were born on May 18th 2007

-Sometimes I catch the kittens still nursing even though they eat solid foods now, I usually push them away but they just go back to drinking.

So she might need to be fixed? I'm trying to find the money for that. How much is it usually?

some cats do roll over and bite but if it is a playfull gentle bite i wouldn't worry about it she is probably just feeling better
cats can get stressed bout kittens and stuff but if it is a mean bite i would just let her no that is not a good thing and u as the master will not alow it and if this does not start to help i would ask a vet .
she was probably just playin with her kitten but if her kitten is frightend or hurt and if your cat is abually being mean then just let her no she is being bad
don't worry
this is normal
2 out of 4 of my cats do this sometimes

Like poohbear- I am curious about how long its been since she's had her kittens. Is she still nursing? Is she in heat again? I have a cat who does this after being kept in the house without visits out doors. I think that it denies him his natural behaviors which in turn makes him aggressive. But all cats are different.

That's sexual behavior.
When cats mate the female bites and swats at the male.
The thing to do, of course, is spay her.
The behavior you're seeing now is just silliness- she's probably going to go look for a mate soon.
