We have a vet appt. later but I just wanted to see if anyone has dealt with this before with their femal puppies. I have an english bulldog and she is going through UTI's and a bacteria infection as of the moment, could this be something that causes this or is she going through her period?

Sounds like she is coming into heat. If she has not been spayed, she will exhibit swelling and actually have menses each month. I am glad to hear you are a responsible pet owner and taking her to regular checkups with her vet, as well as treating episodes like her UTI. Keep up the good work.

I am imensely glad that you do have a vet appointment.
How old is your puppy?
If she is over 4 months old she could be experiencing her first heat. It also could be caused by the conditions you described above.
There is no way at all for us here to ascertain, you're going to have to wait for the vet to let you know.

she is entering warmth. warmth cycle is for 21 days. the 1st week she would be in a position to basically have some swelling, the 2d week is whilst she would be in a position to bleed and greater swelling. if she is protecting herself clean you won't see blood, take a white tissue and whip the vulva. even is she has wiped clean herself you ought to get somewhat blood smear. the 0.33 week is whilst she would be in a position to be waiting to reproduce and bleeding ought to have stopped so watch her heavily and don't bypass away her out in backyard on my own. the adult males will bypass over, under or via a fence to get to her.

Female dogs endure "the curse" too. It can be especially noticeable the first time. If your not going to breed, get her spayed. There's no reason to make her feel that way if she doesn't have to.
