I asked a question recently and not one answerer seemed to understand what I was wanting to know, so later, I worded it a little differently. Still, no one could answer to my satisfaction. And it was not a difficult question.

Personally, I think the issue is that the asker wants a serious answer from an internet posting. The problem is that communication is not effective when we have just the question typed in front of us. We, as answerers, can not see the facial expressions nor hear the inflections of the asker. It makes comprehension of the initial question most difficult. For serious questions to get serious answers, I would suggest asking in another locale. (By the way, I am NOT a teenager, I'm 27)

A bit of both. Most people, from my experience on here, read what they want to read and only that. Or, they are not able to focus.
I think this forum started out as a fun thing. It seems to a devolved into a format for insult and abuse. Not in every sector but in Politics and Religion. Many children, who have no idea about either subject, will automatically attack when they see a question that they disagree with. They most likely have not even read the entire question.

I am personally appalled at the level of writing. Even at 12 years old, the grammar and punctuation should be much better. Our education system here in the US has declined considerably. At 12, I could write a complete sentence.

What does America have to do with it? How do you know the nationality of the answers? Or is that just an assumption? You know, "they don't read the question right, therefore they must be either Americans or teens..."

NO, have you not looked at their answers also, most of them have no knowledge of the Bible at all.

Have you not noticed, the only time a "asker" gets alot of answers, is when it is a simple question, we have 7 - 10 year old children in our organization that knows more than most of the people that participate on Q&A.

Don't steryotype teenagers. I'm 15 and I make sure I understand every question before I answer. If I don't, I leave. What I can't stand is what was mentioned above me. The response I get from most people MY age if I tell them anything intelligent is "LOL wut?"

More interesting is asking why you posted 4 copies of this question in various categories and your other questions don't show much interest in getting valid answers, just raising polemics. Do you understand the answer??
