i have'nt eaten since last saturday night, and i feel so great and powerful... i know this sounds wrong. However, my breath has gone like really bad since the starvation, i'm also on reductil 15mg every morning which i started sunday15th. My bmi is 24, im 5ft 3.5 inches tall and have gone from 157lbs to 140lb 6ozs. My body is 36% fat, 42%fluid and 23%muscle. I do constantly see myself as fat. but now i feel like im trapped, and too terrified to even eat, even if it's an extra cup of coffee. I'm on pro-plus 6 a day, and silver slimming tablets 2x 2 a day.
Am i going mad..

Just to let you know that if you starve yourself, you're body fat won't go down....in fact it may well go up because your body will start consuming muscle and hold on to your body fat. You need to talk to someone before you end up with a full blown eating disorder, this is serious and that feeling of being powerful and in control is very addictive. You are in dangerous territory, please get help.

You are slowly killing yourself is what you're doing.
You are clearly not fat. You have lost over 17 pounds in one week and have done it in the worst way possible.
You know what you are doing is wrong. Stop it now.
Eat and drink something immediately. Make sure when you eat something that it isn't anything too heavy and by all means not greasy or it will make you sick.
There are plenty of ways to lose a few extra pounds, I know - I'm doing it. I too am 5'3", and only a few weeks ago weighed 156. I now weigh 135 - I lost the weight by going on the Southbeach diet - which by the way is chocked full of good food and you eat all the time.
If you truly feel "mental anguish" about eating, then get some help of some kind - don't be dependent upon a site like this for help.
By by all means girl - eat & drink something immediately - or you are going to find yourself in the hospital fighting for your life!!!!

Personally, I think you should seek professional help. No matter how many vitamins you are taking, you always need food. your body needs it to live. Don't be afraid of eating because it is a natural occurance and you should really be eating 3 times a day. A healthy diet is one of the most important ways you can maintain an active lifestyle and protect against health problems. Healthy eating increases energy, improves the way your body functions, strengthens your immune system and thwarts weight gain. Plan your daily meals and snacks. For healthy eating, if your weight is normal, enjoy three meals and two additional snacks if you're hungry in between mealtimes.

Your bad breath is a result of your body releasing "keytones" from consuming itself. That means that the body is so starved for nourishment, that it is digesting healthy tissue. Your "high" will eventually go away, as some of your critical systems shut down. You may not die, right away, from your kidney's malfunction, but, that's okay. Modern medicine means that you can live a fairly long life on a dialysis machine.
Regarding your last question: Oh, yes! Clearly.

You either need medical help for a mental fixation or a good slap up the side of the head to bring you back to earth. This is no way to be healthy and you know it. Talk to a nutritionist or a medical professional about this. You know there is a problem when all you take is pills.

Sorry. You feel "great and powerful" because you're jacked-up on coffee, etc.
You are not going to lose weight this way. Oh, you might lose a couple of pounds, but you can't starve yourself forever. You WILL start eating again and soon...and because you've been starving you are going to overeat. And also because you've been starving, your body is going to hold on to ALL the calories and fat that you put in your body to protect itself in case you starve it again. I'm not kidding---you will probably GAIN weight from this.
Please do this the right way. Eat. About 1,200 calories a day. Eat the right things, eat smaller portions and EXERCISE. That is the ONLY way to lose weight.

you are becoming obsessed. If you don't eat, your body thinks you are staving and your metabolism slows way down, you may feel good now, but you are doing a lot of damage to your body. Start by eating small things(protein bars are good). Try to eat every couple hours, but small (about 100-200 cal). this will be way better in the long run.

Yes you are completely going mad not eating is really bad for you first of all your body thinks your starving your self so it doesn't digest as much so you don't lose as much weight as you would if you were exercising second of all food helps keeping your energy up third of all its really bad for you fourth of all aren't those three reasons really good so if i were you i would slowly start to eat and maybe start a diet!! Hope I helped!!

I really think you need to eat something and then get counselling. no one should go without food for more than 5-6 hours.
