i do agree they have done some good work over the years ,but they are very selective about who cases they take , and over the last 15 - 20 years it has always been against the will of the voters at large

I think it is really funny when the ACLU needs 24 lawyers to sue one small town. (Hazleton) That to me, shows just how dumb they really are. Atleast Mayor Barletta is not backing down.

Thanks Shaneladd for the links I will be signing it.

The ACLU is out of hand. They want every little cross taken off every sign in America. When that for a fact dumbshittts is Freedom of Religion too.

No. they don't characterize the final public of the folk for one. 2 they are receiving federal investment to function. in the event that they act as political communities for one race in basic terms as they have been against the US voters and our immigration rules, lobbying and finding out to purchase off our representatives, then the government needs to revoke that investment.

my 12 yr old child thinks the ACLU is evil, what is weird is that we have never expressed our opinion in front of him. He reads voraciously and has come to this conclusion on his own, the ACLU needs to be careful, it looks as though, if my son is any indication that they are losing the support of this generation.

The day the ACLU fights with equitableness for the Establishment Clause is the day...

lets just say the charter and stated intent of the ACLU speaks for itself.

The American Communist Lawyers Assoc should place the letters "Un" in front of their name, making it the UACLU, The UnAmerican Communist Lawyers Assoc. They are protecting illegal aliens because so many of the illegals are socialists as the ACLU leadership is. They are an anti-Christians group that is as unpatriotic as they come.

They had their purpose at one time, but nowadays they seem to be looking for things to justify their existence. They certainly have the Constituional freedom to oppose things and speak up against them, but I don't agree with what they are doing.

If you are referring to Hazleton, they certainly messed up. What they didn't realize is that it drew media attention, which has made other towns in the area see what the mayor did, and try to apply their own new laws. It backfired, as the mayor has immense support right now. Last election, he had 90-some % votes from his party, 80-some from the opposite party. Now that's saying something!

Yes....for one major reason.....their intent seems to be to break the cities funds to the point where they can't afford to fight anymore.......not for real rights issues or justice. There are plenty of people who have been hindered fighting for rights because they didn't have the funds to fight things. And it's not new where they use the avenue to drag things out in court or financially destroy people to where they quit fighting.

They have become a part of the problem now and not a solution.
