Amazing how people can justify one thing and not another. There is no such thing as "a little pregnant".

I don't see how a person can be against abortion, but support the morning after pill. What if an egg were fertilized? You are killing a potential human life. So, yes I still consider it an abortion.
There is an even easier way to solve this problem. Use protection. Use your head and don't get yourself into these types of situations.

Anything that unnaturally prevents life from occurring is contrary to God's design for us. That would include contraceptives such as the "morning after pill" as well as abortion.
Technically, something like the morning after pill is not "abortion" as it prevents a human life from forming, whereas abortion is killing a human life that's already begun. Both are still wrong in God's eyes however.
Again, anything that artificially inhibits or terminates the natural development of a human life is wrong. And yes, that includes more than just abortion (euthanasisa, assisted suicide, capital punishment, morally unjustified non-defensive warfare, etc.)

Yes it is, but for some reason seems to be better than a much later one. I understand that this is not a consistent thought in the strict sense. But it shows more responsibility than waiting to see if you're pregnant and then aborting. It would be preferable to for both partners to realize the need for and to use prevention, for obvious reasons.
While I believe abortion is a morale choice, I also believe that it should be legal and safe.
Edit:
I guess that the reason why it is more acceptable is that conception may not have occurred or have yet occurred.

Yes of course it is an abortion. A different type where the baby miscarriages without ever having a chance in this world. One more thing... Just think for a second, every abortion occurs could have been, a prophet, prophetess, minister, evangalist, something powerful for God and his Kingdom. I say yes it is definitly abortion either way you look at it, it is murder.

No.
What you are removing from your body, the day after, is not Human. Besides, the government does not & should not, pay for any abortion.
For some reason, I always thought, Roe V Wade defined Abortion as somewhere in the first Trimester, when it can be determined that that little squiggly entity is a human being.
Or, if you are really starting a re-definition of the Roe V Wade decision, this is the wrong place. Hint: The Supreme Court would be a better place. :-)
However, from a layman's point of view, your question seems like it should be ' When does Life really start in a Human Being'?
Is it at conception or is it at birth, when that child, takes its first breath?
Maybe Christians need to re-read their Bible, which states 'Life begins with the first breath'.

yes it is an abortion. I could see where your friend may think it is not- due to the fact that most people say that it will cause you not to get pregnant- if you take within 72 hours hours. Wrong - if you are pregnant it is immediate and you can cause a spontaneous abortion, and because you do not to a clinic for the abortion, you think you are just keeping yourself from being pregnant.

From a "theological" standpoint, scripture implies that life begins when God "breathes it into" a person, so there is no sound Jewish or Christian scriptural objection to abortion. From a scientific standpoint, something incapable of life on it's own is either a parasite or not a viable form of life, so a human foetus needs to be several months along before meeting this criteria.
Does your friend condone contraception? Or should ALL sex be with the intention of breeding? Should we punish God for all the spontaneous abortions? (About 25% of ALL pregnancies spontaneously abort within the first six weeks)

I am not a right wing Christian conservative, first of all. In fact, I favor a woman's right to choose. However, the function of the morning after pill, as I understand, is to dislodge an embryo from the uterine wall. Any of you Dr. types correct me if I'm wrong. If that is true, you would have to consider it abortion. It does not prevent pregnancy, rather, it eliminates it. Just my opinion.

It IS an abortion pill. read the medical literature about it and you will see that it is designed to work AFTER conception has taken place.
Why do you think it is called the 'just in case' pill. Just in case WHAT. Pregnancy that's what.
It is designed to stop the fertilised egg from implanting in the uterus thus ABORTING the egg/baby.
I sure there are a lot of technical terms for this but simply put it gets rid of a fertilised egg and aborts pregnancy.

The whole purpose of a morning after pill is to stop a pregnancy that may have already occurred. Doesn't that sound like abortion?
