Make a list of all the things you like about this job.
The type of work, the travel from home to work, the hours, your co-workers, etc.
Now make a list of all the things you do not like about the job.
The pay, new help coming at the same pay,the lack of your evaluation.
Look at both lists. Do the negatives really out weigh the positives?
Next consider how you can change the negatives. Speak to your boss. Before you meet with him know what you want to say in an open impartial way.
Now consider what else is out there for work options.
Never give up a needed income without giving it a lot of thought. The next job may be worse than the current one. You may find that this job was not so bad or that you could have worked out the problems and kept the job.
Good luck.

Absolutely. The worse thing you can do to yourself is stay at a job where your talents are not recognized. Find a job that will make feel happy and appreciated.

Always be looking for something better. Go on interviews, and look for something better, with better pay. It never hurts to look around... If you can't find anything, then what you have now is better than nothing at all.

Before you do that, talk to the management there and tell them your concerns.
