Do you mean Oolong Tea? If it is, then i am not sure if it loses someone's weight. This colleague of mine drinks Oolong Tea almost 4 times a week (twice daily) and he still remains the same even after 2 years. He said he drinks it for the taste.

No Wu-long tea does not really help. By drinking a lot of it you basically keep your belly full with liquids and this in turn helps you eat less. However, by just drinking water you get the same effect.

Those that have lose weight, it was due to the liquid content not necessarily the tea. The same goes for green tea. Although green tea can raise your metabolism a bit-the amount is so small that you really don't notice it-however since you are always drinking you lose your hunger and therefore you don't eat as much and lose weight.

If you make sure that you stay hydrated and drink plenty of water you'll get the same effect. However, green tea does have some antioxidents.
