The most significant history in a head trauma is the loss of consciousness. The next concern is the neurologic deficit(weakness on one side of the body, paralysis of one side of the body, numbness on one side, seizure or convulsions, etc.) And the last will be a neurological examination findings of a deficit done by a physician. Otherwise if the first two above are not present, the likelihood of having sustained a problem in the brain or inside the cranium is very nil or none at all.

Was it a hard hit? Just watch for dizziness, nausea, vomiting, etc. Unfortunately, a hit on the head that seems harmless can actually kill someone. Bleeding into the brain is deadly. My brother was killed when he got into a fight with someone. The guy hit him and he fell and hit his head. Fractured skull. He was pronounced dead the next morning after surgery to release pressure on his brain. This happened in 1990, he was 18 years old. The guy went to prison for manslaughter.

There wont be any brain damage of course since you are able to be on Yahoo Answers now. However, do consult a doctor to see if there are any internal injuries.

If you think this person is your friend, you are already suffering from brain damage.

If you didn't develope any bumps, cuts or abrasions you should be ok. By the way, your friend should be shot, for doing that to a guitar. I think anyone who treats a musical instrument, as well as a friend, like that needs to cease breathing. Peace!

don't sleep for 24 hours.Look for symptoms of dizziness, confusion, disorientation. If you don't pass out , you will be fine. If you do, get your pal with the guitar to take you to the hospital. Hope if wasn't a Gibson.

no, but I'm guessing, try asking again and giving your symptoms.
There is a song about this, I think it's called El Kabong. its from the 60s, maybe by quick draw McGraw.
