Anyone else experience a strange tickling feeling in the back of their throat when eating wafers?

All my life, whenever I eat wafers or ice cream cones, I get a strange tickling feeling in th back of my throat / nasal passages. Anyone else experience this?

I get this feeling whenever i eat nuts and raisins. I have consulted a doctor before and i was told that too much of oily, spicy and dried preserved stuffs usually causes this and it will lead to sore throats.
