okay i kno you gonna say go to a doctor. but i have to be at homecomming game for cheerleading in an hour. since yesterday i like lost my voice. and im really sick. i got it back but it sounds bad and voiit hurts to shout. i really want to cheer because i spent all pep ralley mouthing the words. and it hurts when i run. SO IS THERE ANY FAST ACTING THING? i livveee for homecoming and this is my first///last one...o yeah ive been taking cough drops/day quill//and sitting in front of a humidifier so i cant have n.e more medicine. but is there any at home tricks er something???

Fast acting - gargle with warm water with a bit of cayenne pepper mixed in. You can mix a little honey with it if you want to make it taste better but honey is not necessary. Put the mixture in a spray bottle so you can spray it in your mouth as needed while at the game, you don't have to spit it out.(just like the store bought stuff only works faster). Try not to get it on your lips(has a little hot feeling to it) Do a yahoo search on it, it really works.

Pour a cup of warm water and a tablespoon of salt together,mom always says gargle warm salt water for soar throats,its kind gross,but it does work...good luck!!

Take lots of vitamin C and Echinacea and eat lots of kiwis, oranges, lemons

okayy well i have had sore throats and my mom would give me ibroprofen, ask your mom if she has it or not because it takes away pain

gargle with apple cider vinegar. it smells terrible, but it really works! i promise!
