I live in TX, and we often pay over $200/mo for air conditioning, which is absolutely essential if you plan on breathing. So it only makes sense to cook out as often as possible.
We cook Mexican grilled chicken, sausage, corn on the cob, french bread, steaks, baked potatoes, fajitas (chicken or beef), shrimp, tilapia, salmon, shishkebab, oooh, the best thick pork chops marinated in liquid smoke, we cook everything we can outside or zapped to keep the house cool. Besides, outside food has that extra savor to it that makes it completely yummy (provided you don't overcook!).
