Whole milk - what you're calling "D" - will serve you best.

Actually, it's better yet if you can get raw milk. It's available in some states, not in others.

Pasteurization kills some of the enzymes in milk, one of which in lactase. (Well, that's not *precisely* true, but it's close enough for this discussion.) If you're lactose-intolerant, you generally can drink raw milk with no problem.

Homogenization, however, is the big deal. It's a process that breaks up the butterfat in the milk into itty bitty spheres instead of the larger ones that are naturally there. Little spheres have more surface area so they try to oxidize faster, and it uses up all the antioxidants in milk. Little spheres also mean it tends to contribute to plaque formation (hardening of the arteries.)

If you buy raw milk, you need to shake the bottle every time before you pour any out, but you do that with other beverages anyhow, so it's no big deal.

But buy *whole* milk, not skim or 2%, because your baby needs the nutrients found in cream.

And drink plenty. They used to say that you lose a tooth for every baby you have, because baby will steal calcium from Mama's body. Drinking lots of milk will prevent an early death from osteoporosis.
