I think that's a fab question.

With bacteria and virii both being life forms - which if you take all this tosh at face value - he made the whole kit and kaboodle - you would expect that he might get mighty pi55ed when we go around killing his creations - let alone eradicate them.

On a pedantic point, I don't think Polio has been eradicated quite, there are still outbreaks every few years somewhere.

For the people that have answered and said "God hates disease" (did he create them by accident then?) what about the parasites which are more "conventional" life forms but we still feel completely at liberty to get rid of them? eg: tapeworm, lice and other such charming things which need a host to survive?

Are we supposed to let them live on us - or is it ok for us to kill them if they are "on/in us" ?

Personally I just think he gets rattled when we kill / torture / main / injure / torment / judge other people because they belive in a different version of religion from the next guy.

If you really study you will see many diseases are the result of the filth of man kind. Malaria, Dysentery, cholera, HIV, all of these came from mans filthy habits, not from what God created or planed.

By reading the book of Job I learned that perhaps some, if not all, of deceases and natural disasters can be created by Satan. That is why pestilences were foretold would happen during the end times. Why would He get mad for curing something he did not do?

No. And since He didn't create disease (sin did), it pleases Him when we use His gifts to cure it.

And isn't it interesting that those of you who claim to not even believe in God, believe He created disease! LOL!!

God bless!

God also creates the cures/preventions and leads men
to the discovery of them -- in His time.

To be logical about this you can only say this with certainty if you have actually talked with God and He admitted to this otherwise you are speculating,, so have you talked to God? and if so can you still claim to be Atheist?
