I prefer rotties because a doberman hurt my yorkshire terrier once, and I've hated dobermans ever since, but it's entirely up to you.

As both breeds are somewhat similar, the Doberman will need to be inside more if you live in a place that has cold winters, the doberman requires much more exercise and is a very good watch dog as they are wary of strangers from your question i think it could go either way but i would say a dobie

i have owned a rottie before and she was great . she was very loving and loved to relax with are family.
however all dogs can be very loving and great pets.
i have starred this question so one of my contatcts might see it and tell you the good qualities of dobermans.
why not check out a rescue and adopt either a rottie or doberman.
go to www.petfinder.com and type in your zip code then type in the breed and see whats for adoption.

i'm sorry, yet neither are good first time canines. they are great breeds, yet not for a baby our age to attend to. have you ever seen a Boxer, great Dane or Weimaraner? the two are great for first time vendors, they are all super breeds, and that they are amazing canines. I propose you purchase some books and look at up on canines and dogs possession. Cesar Millan is okay each and every now and then, in spite of the undeniable fact that it takes a blend of techniques to comprehend the type you want to coach your dogs, and you shouldn't use what you notice on his prepare. The prepare is for canines that have problems that choose fixing, which your dogs wouldn't have in case you get a puppy. I propose domestic canines for Dummies, A member of the kin, and Love That dogs practise application. i exploit a blend of all 3 of the techniques interior the books and it fairly is great. do slightly analyze on the breeds i discussed and spot in case you like them. have faith me, the breed would not make the dogs. i'm particular which you will come across an incredible dogs of a much less complicated headed breed. as quickly as you are able to take care of the dogs you get, then you are able to think of roughly getting a extra dominant breed. EDIT: Lol i comprehend you have been joking, yet i comprehend that an excellent form of folk attempt to apply his techniques and fail. Oh, and maximum rescues won't supply a rottie or dobie to first time vendors. they only undertake them out to experienced vendors. Please, get a different breed. they are great canines, yet not good for first time vendors!
