...."and he cried out with a stong voice saying,....."She has fallen, Babylon the Great has fallen." and she has become a dwelling place of demons and a lurking place of every unclean and hated bird."
{Rev 18:2}
Rev 14:8 ....And another, a second angel followed saying.."She has fallen, Babylon the Great has fallen.'
Isaiah 21:9....and here now is coming a war chariot of men, [with] a span of steeds.
Just as the ancient Babylon fell to never rise again, so will Babylon the Great {the world empire of false religion} take a fall to never rise again and mislead the vast majority of mankind.

Babylon is any nation that uses it's power take that which is not theirs to take, and forsakes the poor. They worship money (mammon).
In the days of Isaiah it the nation was Babylon, in the days of Jesus Babylon was Rome, today Babylon is the U.S.
Revelation 16:19 brings to remembrance the Babylon of Isaiah time, but is talking of our time, Iraq will be divided into 3 parts. (no fly zone) and will be divided into 3 nations.
Please note in Revelation 14:8 is Isaiah time. Revelation 18:2 speaks of our time as does Revelations 8:2, also speak of our time.
Revelation 12 throught 16 has already happened, and it is in the order of when they happened.

I don't think America is the new Babylon. America was a country built on the word of God.
It is preferable that Revelation not be interpreted unless you have mastered the previous thousand pages of text.
Babylon would be most likely the Islamic nations. Islam is a religon that promotes murder and sacrifice, in large numbers.
Consider this, America is a free country. You can choose to be Islam or Baptist. In Islamic nations, you may not.
I wanted to get married in Dubay. And, couldn't because I am not Islamic. That is said for example only.

Isaiah 21:9 ...and all the graven images of her gods he hath broken unto the ground.
Rev 14:8 ...because she makes all nations that partake of her fornication drink of the wine of the wrath of God.
...John presents the “falling of Babylon” after “the seat of the beast” is set up in the latter days, and the world has begun to feel its effects. There is no denying that the United States’ influence is felt worldwide. Its citizens consume more of the earth’s resources, by far, than any other nation in the world (“she makes all nations…partake of her fornication”). Its consumption formulates and controls the world markets. It gives no forgiveness or mercy to its enemies, makes no excuses for itself, and is constantly engaged in expanding its economical presence throughout the world.
...the “wrath of God” is His non-intervention in the actions of humankind, given so that we can experience consequences and learn from them;
Rev 18:2 ...and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird.
...When people have no worldly worries, and are not caught up in the race to achieve, obtain, and succeed in this life, a great peace and calmness comes over them. In other words, if we do “not partake of her (BABYLON THE GREAT) sins,” we do not “receive of her plagues” (stress, frustration, depression, loneliness, self-deprecation).

I don't understand your question. In Rev. The city is no more, it is now nothing but a waste land with unclean animals, and evil,
