Being 19 years old, AND buying a brand-spanking new car - you will pay quite a bit for insurance - probably more than you are paying now. And - depending on where you live, crime rate in that area and your credit score, you could be looking at $400 or more (I'm willing to bet).

No matter which car you drive, check into whether or not the dealership has any Demo cars that they are selling. I bought a new Kia Optima in 2001 as a demo car. Because it was already "broken in", the selling price was $4,000 less than the sticker price. I bought the car with 3200 miles on it. It now has 50,000 and has had very few problems.

As for performance, the Camry does fairly well, as does the Altima. Not sure about the Jeep or Ford Fusion, but I've seen them on the road....wasn't impressed all that much.

For quality, I would go with either the Camry or Altima.

Ultimately, you should select a vehicle that suits your needs. The longer the warranty, the better.

Good luck in you choice.

Buy a good used car (no more than $1200) Use the money you were planning to PI** away for INVESTMENT.
Twenty years from now, that $4000 dollars you invested could be worth $250,000!
What you NEED now (not what you WANT) is a car that will get you from point A to point B.
Later in life you won`t even WANTa fancy car, but will NEED more money to live on, for the important things in life!

I bought a 2007 camry last Aug. and I love it. It gets good gas milage and my warranty is 5yrs or 100,000 miles. The car has alot of safety features as well. Test drive one and I think you will like it.
