where am I going to file my annulment case?

i was married in church several years ago and now i want to have it annuled. where am i going to file the annulment. i'm from philippines. i want to remarry again in church...please help...thanks...

You start by discussing it with your local priest. He can give you the paperwork.

The paperwork will eventually end up at the Office of the Tribunal at your local Catholic diocese.

I was under the impression that an annulment has to be done within a 12 month time frame.

Check with your local courthouse they should be able to guide you in the right direction.

Go to your priest, he will give you the inital papers. They will be submitted to the tribunal office in your local dioceese. It can be a long and troubling process. Be prepared to fill out lots and lots of paperwork. But it all starts at home, so see your Father asap and he will help you get the ball rolling.

My understanding is that when you are married in the Phillipppines, you must file all of your paperwork there to have the papers finalized. You may want to talk to someone else who has been through the same things.
