Demon possession is very rare. However it is easy for a priest/exorcist to determine this. Sometimes the priest tricks the demon by using another language he knows like Latin but the possessed person does not, and determines that it is another entity giving him the answer. Questions about things unknown to the possessed subject are also used as demons have access to knowledge the victim does not. Nevertheless the priest never has an "intellectual" discussion or gets into the trap of outwitting the demon because it is not humanly possible. Instead he uses the holy name of Christ to bind and send the demon to hell.

Christ Himself addressed the evil spirits, not their victims; told His disciples how the evil spirit acted when cast out (Matthew 12:44, 45; Luke 11:24-26), taught them why they had failed to exorcize (Matthew 17:19); warned the seventy-two disciples against glorying in the fact that the demons were subject to them (Luke 10:17-20). He even conferred express powers on the Apostles "over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of diseases, and all manner of infirmities" (Matthew 10:1; Mark 6:7; Luke 9:1), and, immediately before His Ascension, enumerated the signs that would proclaim the truth of the revelation His followers were to preach to the world: "In my name they shall cast out devils: they shall speak with new tongues. They shall take up serpents; and if they shall drink any deadly thing it shall not hurt them: they shall lay hands on the sick and they shall recover" (Mark 16:17-18).

Thus does the expulsion of demons become so closely bound up with other miracles of the Christian dispensation as to hardly permit of separation.

There are some psychological standpoints that could support demon possession... not actually exterior demons, but possibly an inner ego that works and pulls knowledge from the unconscious mind rather than from the conscious.

Perhaps from an event or sensation, this alter ego is triggered and plays out repressed desires in a 'demonic' way... glorifying these desires. But just as it's triggered, it can be un-triggered through equally traumatizing events.. which I imagine would be very good for the person to regain control.

If this is the case, it would be very different from a normal bad person or a sociopath, this would be an uncontrolled action that overrides freewill and personal preservation, almost like a self-destruct switch.

Why don't we see it more? Maybe because most of us live in a world where we don't have theses sorts of stresses. But we all know about the world in the not too far past that was without heat, comforts, and consistent safety.. many of the obstacles of the past could have triggered these self-destruction switches, giving rise to people who knew how to set the person back.

Okay demonic possesions none of this. Demonic possesion happens when you have done something terrible. And I mean it has to be terrible. Like killing someone doesnt qualify. Like you have to have a full on blood orgy. How do ik this? About two years ago I commited a fowl crime. Like bad. It was out of self defense but lets just say self defense went too far. This was bad. A couple of days later I expelled my own faith in god my eyes began turning a yellow color. Then I started cursing a **** ton. It went from there I started getting violent for no reason. Things started getting misplaced in the house then popping up back in the last place I left em where they dissappeared from. I dont have a concept of what love is and my zest for other people and empathy for them has completely drained. Im said to need a psychiatrist and a spiritual adviser. Anytime I wear a cross I feel ****** up like its bad I cant stand to wear one theres actually a pain in my chest.

First of all demonic possession is pretty rare but demonic oppression is much more common, ask your Priest about this.
Demonic possession is usually thought of as the typical biblical affair of foaming at the mouth and climbing walls etc, but the demons are very astute at moving with the times, I should imagine that it is more sophisticated these days and I agree that the demons would prefer to operate on the intellect which is much more subtle and dangerous.

It means demon(s) control your behavior some or all of the time. Are you a Christian? Are you concerned about being posessed, or are you simply wondering? The demonic is nothing to fool around with. Demons are real, and they do have power--but not power over the Name and Person of Jesus Christ. If you're genuinely concerned, go to a "full-gospel" church and ask them to help you. I'm sure there are a lot of books in the library (and info. on the Internet) about the subject, also.

I talked to a man once who went around discussing 'demon habitation in the soul' and he believed all sins were the result of an indwelling demon. ( Like an alcoholic had a demon of alcoholism in him ) I tend to agree, but do know for sure it is the acts of satan that does allow demons to possess of course, and if we can get rid of each 'demon' inside of us, we can be that much closer in our walk with God. Sometimes, too, I notice when a strong non-believer or satanist is in the presence of 'holy' people, they will start blasting out obscenities, vulgarities, and blasphemies; it is pretty apparent they are possessed by a demon. I have faced such a person and quietly said "I rebuke you in the name of Jesus, be silent!" and the person shut up instantly and walked away. All I could do was stare and praise God.

ahahahah there's only 1 big boss of the ' demons ' and 1/3 of the original angels get thrown and they become the so-called demons now..

yet they made themselves known and try harder to get people to hell =) .

i mean come on , people tell me god love us soooooooo much etc etc x 3 etc etc and yet for this unconditional love , nothing much is actually done to save non-believer.

yet things such as evolution , datings and bla bla which is backed with either substantial or freaking concrete evidences are said to be the work of demon ..

and these works from the demon manage to convince more people ..

made me wonders sometimes

i think of people who look evil are in basic terms mentally disturbed. Like sociopaths. Their brains in basic terms at the instant are not under pressure suited. Watch some criminal profile exhibits on id channel. expert profilers and psychologists pass into the minds of serial killers and learn what makes them tick. Very interesting.

Don't read into it, you are voluntarily signing up to be brainwashed. Turn it off and don't go back.
"if you are intelligent or have a bit of common sense then you are demonically possessed and will burn in hell for all eternity" DON'T BELIEVE IT, PLEASE!!!!
