It all depends on why you are drinking beer.. with a meal, after work..cold/hot weather, or just plain getting drunk etc etc...personally, if I had to choose just one beer, Pilsner Urquell from Czechoslovakia would be my choice. I stay away from everyday american brews like budweiser and miller.. I like Sam Adams honey porter though. Corona is just beer flavored water in my opinion.

I spent 20 years in the Air Force and traveled the world, i have a collection of about 200 beers from around the world and the worst beer i ever had can be found right here in USA. Old Milwaukee's Best!! whenever i drink a beer i don't like i always compare to Old Milwaukee's. its been over 12 years ago i had it and still haven't forgotten that terrible experience. Busch beer comes a close second

Officially it is Westvleteren Abt 12. Has been for years and let me tell you having had it... It is like sex. Words can't begin to describe just how wonderful this beer is.

Now for what you can get in most areas of the country... Dogfish Head Chicory Stout. Though I just got my hands on a Bell's Batch 1800 that blew my freaking mind. The bell's is only available in a few states however.

Heineken is probably the worst beer in the world, Carlsberg isn't far behind.

I'd vote for Guinness Genuine Draft as the overall best that is available globally.

None of those are any good. And to the guy above comparing stella artois and hoegaarden, they are nothing alike. Stella artois is a lager and hoegaarden is a white ale that goes in the belgian wheat category.
Unless you're going to slim it down to a certain category or region, my beer happens to be the best in the world.

I can't judge on the three you mentioned. I've only had Heineken--good, but too strong for me, and never tried the other two. There's so many different types of beers (ales, lagers, bocks, stouts, lights, pilsners, etc, etc...), there's no way you can pick just one. It'd be like apples and oranges. I personally like Leinenkugel Red, Guiness, or MGD.

Try Hoegaarden, from Belgium.

Or a good microbrew.

Plus, you really need to specify what KIND of beer, comparing a lager to a stout just won't do.

Instead of hoegaarden, try Stella Artois, another belgian beer

Maudite, a Quebec beer. But it depends on what you prefer--that's more of a red beer.
