I'm going to be getting my Scottish Family crest tattooed on my arm and I was wondering how hard it would be to get the family plaid implemented into it as well. Here's a link of what I'd like to get http://www.hughcarter.com/images/Munro_Crest_large.jpg

Yeah having it in the center would be what I was going for, that pic was just the best example I could find, just to give you an idea.

I'm going to be getting the crest done today on my right shoulder, and I'll ask how much it'll cost to get the plaid done, but it may have to be something I get done further down the road. Has n e body seen any plaid tattoos before?

I think that is cool you are getting your family crest tattooed on you, there should be no problems with the plaid talk to your artist they can advise you best on what they think they can do if it is not what you want then i would suggest finding an artist that can do it for you.

I agree with one of the other answerers, only do the paid in the middle so that way you have some sort of border for it, especially if 2 sittings would be needed. If this wouldn't ruin it for you I think if you found someone that does awesome shading it would be a cool black and white.

the bigger it is, the more detail you can put in it. i would suggest just getting the plaid done in the center, and not around it. take the design to your artist, and see what they come up with. good luck!

Wouldn't seem to be hard. Take it to the parlor that you're looking at and have them draw it up so they can put it on you. Good luck.

That would be some very tedious work and probably cost a lot of money
