Something over 120 MPH in a 1959 Ford Galaxy 500 in the deserts of Nevada, south of Carson City on the way to Las Vegas. I don't know exactly since the speedometer topped out at 120 and I pegged it. This was in 1966 just after my high school graduation. At the time, Nevada had no speed limit between major cities. My excuse? I was young and stupid...

about 100 miles an hour in the desert in Arizona. course if i had been driving my V8 Chevy and not someone elses 4 cylinder mini van it would have been a lot faster than that ! lol
