Monotheism always breeds a jihadist mentality--not just in Muslims--but right here in our country too, among the "religious right" with their "holy war" on Islam!

Most Muslims are peaceful people by nature, though their religion has some elements associated with its practice that seem rather alien to people raised in an insulated Christian environment.
It is the radical Muslim terrorists like bin Laden and certain clerics who like to twist Islam around so it seems to support their violent, deadly agenda. Peaceful Muslims have publicly expressed scorn for these radicals, and some have been murdered for daring to publicize their opinions.
Basically, you can't paint all Muslims with the same brush. The same can be said for Christians and Jews; not all are as peaceful & innocent as they'd like the world to believe, and it takes just a few bad apples to stink up a whole barrel.

I do NOT think Bin Laden has his head screwed on correctly but I would counter that we have a president who said that he prayed and believed that God told him it was OK to start the war in Iraq. How do we reconcile that with religious fanaticism
in the White House? When Bush starts talking God on the podium don't you think that's a signal to some people that this is a holy war. As for Bin Laden, his actions speak for themselves. He is not a man of peace but neither is our current President. And unfortunately he calls himself a Christian. I don't think it makes a good case for Christians.
