I am a schizophrenia paranoid, diagnosed over 40 years ago. I have had many auditory and visual hallucinations. Auditory hallucinations ("hearing" voices) are really not sounds you hear with your ears but unwelcome voices in your mind.

Visual hallucinations are something else! I once saw several small glowing, red globes, like lights, floating about 18 inches above the floor. I know they were there because our cat saw them too and was batting at them with his paws. They were not fireflies as those do not occur where I lived then. They just disappeared. I have had several unexplainable, visual, poltergeist like, things happen to me. Some at least were seen by another.

One loud voice, in my mind, told me to kill myself. Voices are usually about negative or impossible things. I can not and science can not explain how they arise.

Good luck, good mental health, peace and love!

Yes I have. I once had a hallucination that someone was speaking to me. I carried out the conversation for about a minute. Nothing has ever happened since.
