Whats a receipe for a thick and creamy homemade mushroom soup? Thanks!

FRESH MUSHROOM SOUP

1/4 c. butter
1 med. onion, chopped
1/4 c. flour
4 c. chicken broth (canned or homemade)
1 lb. fresh mushrooms, sliced
1 c. cream (may substitute milk, but soup is not as rich)
Salt & pepper to taste

In a large pan, cook onion in butter over medium heat for about two minutes. Stir in flour until blended. Gradually stir in chicken broth. Cook and stir until thickened somewhat. Stir in mushrooms. Cover and reduce heat to low. Simmer 20 minutes. Stir in cream or milk. Add salt and pepper to taste. Serves 4 to 6.

Zesty Mushroom Soup

2 servings

1 tablespoon butter
1 cup thinly sliced fresh mushrooms
1/4 cup thinly sliced onions
2 tablespoons flour
1/2 teaspoon dried tarragon leaves
1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt
ground black pepper
1/2 cup chicken broth
1/2 cup half-and-half
2 tablespoons dry white wine

Melt butter in medium saucepan over medium-high heat.
Add mushrooms and onion.
Cook and stir 5 minutes until vegetables are tender.
Add flour, tarragon, cayenne, salt and pepper; cook 1 minute, stirring constantly.
Reduce heat to low; gradually add broth, half-and-half and wine.
Cook 5- 10 minutes until mixtures thickens slightly.

1lbmushrooms, 3ozbutter, 2med onions chopped, 1 clove garlic, 2tsp flour, 2pints HOT chicken stock, 1 bay leaf, 1/2 cup cream salt and pepper clean mushrooms, chop caps and stems heat butter , garlic , onions till soft add mushrooms cook on high for 3 minutes stirring constantly. Sprinkle flour over mushrooms, mix well, pour in hot chicken stock - Boil. Add bay leaf simmer 10 minutes remove bay leaf. Put mixture into blender blend till smooth return to sauce pan stir in cream serve hot

USE 2 DIFFRENT MUSHROOMS SLICED, SAUTE IN BUTTER WITH CHOPPED ONION FOR 3 MINUTES ADD A 1/4 CUP OF FLOUR STIR FOR A COUPE OF MINUTES USE 1 QUART OF 1/2 AND 1/2 AND ADD A PINT OF CREAM LOWER THE FLAME STIR ADD WHITE PEPPER,AND SALT NAMASTE
