I notice that those with BPD tend to put a lot of ............. in their emails and text messages (dot dot dots). Ditto for their messages on internet discussions, such as Yahoo Answers
Have others noticed this? What could be the reason behind this? Is it because their ideas are disconnected?
They also tend to have a lot of emoticons in their emails/texts.

I have BPD, and the only time I do that is usually at the end of my paragraph followed by Good Luck or xo. How many BPD's do you have contact with because I really think your reading way too much into this and by the way are ideas are NOT disconnected! Do some research on us before assuming and generalizing...GOOD LUCK...

I've always put............in my e-mails etc. and I do not have a BPD. I think I do it to continue the idea. What experience do you have to make a diagnosis of this sort? Just wondering. Have a good day.

I think you're making an over-generalization. How many people with borderline do you regularly correspond with to develop this theory?

i do that a lot too.. but i don't have BPD hunn.
