I am halfway through getting a half sleeve done. The tattooist did the first bit of coulouring last week and, now that it has nearly heeled up, I can see that the yellow highlights are too bright - I wanted a muted yellow but this is lemon yellow. Does anyone know if this can be easliy corrected on my next session by going over it in a darker shade?

If your tattoo is totally healed then yeah the colouing can be hanged to a darker colour quite like a cover up tat... it all depends on wether your tattooist has a darker yellow he/she might have done it in that colour cos thats all they have...

I would give it a while to totally heal, as it has only been a week. Usually it takes 2-3 weeks, and it will probably fade slightly. You should be able to darken it since it is a light color, but be careful as some colors tend to turn muddy.

it can absolutely be done a bit darker by doing it in a different shade of yellow. but i would wait a month before doing so because it could darken it up a little bit. i have a flower that i thought was very pink at first but it darkened up after about a month and is redder... which is what it was supposed to be.

That relies upon, white could make it slightly lighter, yet once you think of approximately utilising white pencils or crayons case in point, they basically slightly lighten black. The solar will fade tattoos, it particularly is probable your ultimate guess.

Yeah, he can fix it if you want. Don't listen to Wendy C though, I think she may be a liar, anybody with that much work would know that the tattoo artist can mix colors just like a painter would.

yes any tatoo can be re-coloured min. most tattoos fade. a little hint. when the tattoo has dried. rub a little vaseline over it. makes itn shiny and stops it fading.
