Why can't americans find bin laden?

US Govt / Politicians too corrupt! Too much to risk personally. Don't want to offend the Arabs i.e. Saudi in particular! Loose their buckshe's and comfortable living standards.

Unconcerned at the numbers of Allied dead, wounded and crippled etc.

Life's been made too cozy for them with all the Arab handouts!

The focus on the Iraq war. The incompetence of the President. The ability of Bin Laden to hide and learn from his mistakes. Our inability or unwillingness to operate in Pakistan. The use of our UAVs on the US - Mexico border instead of the Afghanistan - Pakistan border. Unintelligent intelligence agencies. Finally, the pervasive idea being spewed that he is irrelevant.

Why can't American's find the Zodiac Killer, why can't Americans find missing children in THEIR OWN COUNTRY?? The guy who bombed the Atlanta Olympic Games? Why did it take us years to find Bonnie and Clyde, Charles Manson and others. Now ask why has it taken us this long to find Bin Laden. You people act as if this is some large game of damned hide and seek.

One cause we are looking for him in a country that not many outsiders have been to before.

Two cause he has followers willing to offer him aid and comfort and continue to do his bidding whilst he is on the run.

Three cause Afghanistan is the size of Texas and you are looking for one person in the midst of millions.

Four cause we don't have enough troops looking for him (instead of bitching "why can't we find him" why not put your money where you rather large assed mouth is and join up and help us look???)

Five cause America really doesn't want to commit the necessary $$$$$ it would take to find him.

Six cause it isn't exactly like he is hiding somewhere with neon signs pointing out his location.

I've heard reports that Bin Laden sometimes keeps company with some royalty of the Saudi family and the US doesn't want to risk accidently killing one of the royals. That would devestate the relationship between the US and Saudi Arabia.

Because we aren't looking. We have multiple billion dollar spy satellites, photo recon aircraft, forensic analysis capabilities, GPS tracking devices, high tech gadgetsthat make James Bond look like a technophobe, and thousands of spies all over the world. You're telling me that we couldn't find this guy? One year, okay it is a big world. Two years, okay, he is really good at hiding, he's staying really quiet. 6+ years!??! And he sends out video and audiotapes regularly! You're telling me we can't track that down? Bull. We no longer want to find him. Make up your own mind about why.

He is hiding under a rock somewhere. He is smart enough to find allies. So no one turned him in.

The US found Saddam Hussein, after they went to his hiding site for the fourth time. Saddam was dumb and tried to hid near former enemies. Someone turned him in and got the $25 million reward. His two sons were turned in by the man who owned the home where they were hiding.
