Since I'm a PS3 owner, I'm going with all of the PS3 exclusive titles because I'm behind Sony and my PS3 all the way.
The only one that I'm not sure about is coded arms assault for PS3 because I don't know much about that game.
Tekken 6, Final Fantasy XII, Metal Gear Solid 4, and Gran Turismo 5 will be way better than any rival Microsoft game because they have a longer history in the gaming world and a larger fan base.
I've read some previews about Splinter Cell 5 and I have to admit that it sounds pretty interesting and even though I have all of the Splinter Cell games for the PS2, they were mostly a little easy and weren't that challenging. Metal Gear Solid 4 will beat Splinter Cell any day because it has such an amazing story behind the whole series and it has a larger fan base.
Halo 3 will mostly likely outsell Resistance Fall of Man and Killzone 2, but that doesn't matter to me because Halo is way too futuristic for me. When I play shooters I like to use guns and weapons that use real ammunition, not guns that shoot little lazer beams. Even though Resistance uses some futuristic guns, they are only used because you pick them up from dead aliens or find them where the aliens are.

well since some of the games you mention are not out ....It would be very dificult to compare so lets go based on what games are out and what we all have had experience with..
Killzone vs Halo2 Killzone because got tired of listening to fouled mouthed 11 year olds playing halo online.
Resistence over gears of war ... Why because gears of war is too much like playing freeze tag and didn't like the slow chunky physics.
Ff the series gets my vote
Froza gets my vote
Cod3 Because Bioshock is too easy to beat and the game doesn't offer enough extras,
Never played splinter cell so can't judge

1.probably killzone2: it's looking sweet but still a while away.
2.Unreal Tournament 3. Not overly sure the other two are much more than 'vapourware' at the minute.
3.FFXIII: just because,
